Engagement Photography and Pre Wedding Photography in San Francisco |
||
Engagement photography has become a vital part of modern wedding packages. One of the main reasons is that during an engagement session, a couple learns how to be comfortable with the photographer and the photographer learns what angles are best for the particular couple. Engagement photography is pretty much stress free. During an engagement session, a couple is generally relaxed and easily expresses their feelings and emotions. In a way, engagement session is a rehearsal for the “real thing”. During the photo shoot, your photographer can suggest what you can do to look your best in the wedding photos and tell you more about wedding photography. It is always a good idea to start your wedding album with the a few good photographs from the engagement session in order to create a logical timeline. Couple must avoid wearing black and/or white clothes. Dress in casual, not flashy clothes so the pictures focus on expressions not on your outfit. San Francisco offers a number of wonderful locations for engagement photography. Golden Gate Park, alone, has several; such as, The Japanese Tea Garden, with its lovely trees and flowers, the Stow Lake and the Shakespeare Garden. Another great San Francisco spot is Park Presidio. Couples can be photographed in front of Golden Gate bridge (mornings are better, as in the evening bridge is backlit). More romantic photographs can be taken in front of the abandoned military buildings. And if you are extra lucky and have a permission of a park office, you can be photographed on a horse. And of course a magnificent San Francisco City Hall should be considered as your engagement photo spot as well. San Francisco City Hall Wedding Photography or engagement photos are always turn out great. If the beautiful city by the bay is not covered by fog and you would like it as your background, you might want to travel to the other side of the Golden Gate bridge and take engagement photographs on one of the Sausalito beaches or on Treasure Island. Sunset is the best time for this kind of photographs. Fisherman's Wharf is another great option, if you don't mind some tourists in your photos. If your engagement photos are taken at the Wharf, you can have the ocean and the city as your backgrounds. More excellent photos can be taken at Embarcadero, one of the busiest places in Downtown San Francisco. Perhaps, a black and white photo of a couple kissing in the middle of busy street will be yours to cherish. Last but not least, Palace of Fine Arts and The Legion of Honor are perfect engagement session locations. Photos taken there will have a glamorous and stylish look.
I consider San Francisco is a virtual photo studio.
